The claim process

When a claim occurs, we ensure the most appropriate systems are in place to respond to losses quickly. Regardless of the type or magnitude of the loss, our team understands the claim process, so there are no surprises for you.

Auto claim process

  • The claim is reported, and an adjuster is assigned
  • The adjuster contacts you to discuss the loss details and the auto body shop being used
  • Rental vehicle arranged (if policy carries applicable coverage)
  • An estimate date is set with the body shop
  • The estimate is reviewed and approved by the insurance company
  • Repairs are booked
  • Deductible (if applicable) is paid to the body shop upon completion of repairs

Property claim process

  • The claim is reported, and an adjuster is assigned
  • The adjuster contacts you to discuss the loss details and the contractors required
  • Any emergency work required is completed, and an estimate of damages is generated
  • The adjuster investigates to determine how the insurer will respond based on your coverage
  • If the loss is covered, the estimate is approved by a licensed appraiser
  • The contractor is booked for repairs
  • The deductible is paid to the contractor upon completion of repairs
